The hospital, Heilongjiang maternity hospital and Heilongjiang maternal and child hospital were merged into the second hospital of Heilongjiang Province. In March 1956, the hospital was officially renamed as the first hospital of Qiqihar city. The outpatient department was registered in a unified way and treated by different departments. The construction and development of the hospital began to take shape.
